Vision

Leading Oakland kids and Youth and Children to Jesus

Mission

Points of Light makes disciples of Jesus of Oakland’s at-risk youth and children by instilling Christian values. We offer Christian-centered values to kids and youth that will develop leadership and critical thinking skills, encouraging academic excellence, and reducing high incarceration rates, drug usage, and homicide among teenagers.

Why we exist?

Despite more than 500 churches and 100,000 kids and youth in Oakland. 99% of churches do not have a full time youth leader. It is no wonder why we see the heartbreaking stories our news channels.
